Our Vision

This platform was created with one mission: to give citizens clear, organized, and verified access to the public life and achievements of Maharashtra’s Loknath — Shri Eknath Shinde. We believe every resident of Maharashtra, every student, and every curious citizen deserves an easy way to learn about their leaders, their decisions, and their vision for the state.

Meet the Founder: Rohan Dipak Patil

My name is Rohan Dipak Patil, and I am the founder and editor of this independent archive. I am a tech graduate from the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science & Data Systems. My professional work focuses on public data analysis, digital governance, and citizen journalism.

“Politics affects everyone, so information about it should belong to everyone.”

I grew up in Pune, but like many in Maharashtra, I have always been connected to the events in Thane and Satara that shaped the political landscape of the state. Inspired by grassroots leaders, I started this project to document the rise of Shri Eknath Shinde and to ensure that citizens have a transparent, easy-to-access resource for learning about governance, reforms, and opportunities — especially in education.

Why Focus on Eknath Shinde

Shri Eknath Shambhaji Shinde, born on February 9, 1964, is known as Maharashtra’s “Loknath” — a people’s leader. His story is remarkable:

  • He hails from Satara district, but his family moved to Thane during his childhood, where his political journey began.
  • In 1984, he became Shakha Pramukh (branch chief) of Thane, marking the start of his leadership role in Shiv Sena.
  • He was elected twice to the Thane Municipal Corporation (1997, 2002) and rose to become Leader of the Opposition for a brief period in 2014.
  • Over the years, he became a four-term legislator representing the Kopri-Panchpakhadi constituency in Thane.
  • In previous state governments, he held critical portfolios such as Public Works Department (PWD) and Urban Development, overseeing infrastructure growth across Maharashtra.

Today, he is serving as Chief Minister of Maharashtra, holding key departments like General Administration, IT, Urban Development, Public Works, Transport, Environment and Climate Change, and Social Justice.

This journey — from humble beginnings to the state’s top office — is not just inspiring but also instructive for anyone who believes in hard work, persistence, and public service.

Delegations from India and Japan sit facing each other at a long conference table during a formal bilateral meeting, with national flags displayed behind them, documents and microphones arranged neatly as officials engage in diplomatic discussion.
The national flags of India and Brazil fly side by side on flagpoles against a clear blue sky, their colors visible as the fabric moves in the wind.
